May Week 2
Friday 13th May
Congratulations to Livingstone School Council for raising an amazing £366.62 for Water Aid. Thank you to everyone who generously donated.
Due to the cycling proficiency training children this week, we need the bike shed to store all the bikes that will be brought brought into school by Year 6 and left overnight. Please could other year groups please park scooters/bikes in the temporary designated area as this gives us the space to do this.
Learn French and other languages from home using Linguascope. Pupils can access the programme on the internet using the following login details. The username is livingst and the password is yellowfish
The Year 3 boys took part in their first ever football tournament at The Compton Powerleague. They performed fantastically winning two matches and drawing four. This meant that they remained unbeaten and didn’t even concede a goal throughout the whole tournament. Well done to Kenan, Artin, Shyam, Robert, Charlie, Luke, Kacper, Mohammed and Baheer!
Year 3/4 boys and girls played friendly matches against Church Hill after school on Wednesday and performed brilliantly, despite the playing in mixed weather conditions. The boys won 6 – 2 and the girls lost 3-2 in a very close match which was incredible as it was their first competitive match. Well done to Billy, Charlie O. Jack C Bradley, Elijah, Dennis, Harvey, Henry, Tillie, Nayda, Maddy, Bradniel, Daisy, Sarah C, Terri Ann, Sophia, Chimika and Shivani.
A Summer Activity Camp will be on offer this year and will run for two weeks 8th August and 15th August 2016, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm. If you have any queries please see Mrs. Kelly at the Cabin Club.
At the end of this half term we are hoping to have a preloved uniform sale. Please save all uniform as your child grows out of it and bring it into the school office. Please make sure all used uniform is clean, in good condition and, where possible, remove any name tags. Only bring in donations of uniform that you would buy yourself. Last day for donations..... Tuesday 17th May
Make sure all uniform is named as we find lots of jumpers left on the field every time we have a sunny day and please make sure all pupils bring in correct PE kit.
