Livingstone are very proud of our results as they are a reflection of the hard work done over many years by pupils and teaching teams. Results change from year to year as they depend on many factors, so we have included information on progress under our assessment results as it shows the positive outcomes for all our pupils.

Results

At Livingstone all of our pupils have regular assessments and we keep detailed records tracking pupil progress and attainment from Nursery to Year 6. All pupils are measured against age specific criteria throughout the year and assessed at:

- working towards the standards (WTS - emerging)

- meeting expected standards (EXS).

- exceeding  the standards (GDS - working at Greater Depth).

- below the standard.

Pupils that deemed as Below are assessed on a graded Pre-Key Stage scale.

Key Stage 2 SATs

Year 6 children (Key Stage Two) have to take national SATs tests in English (reading, grammar, punctuation, spelling and maths). The tests are sent to external markers and their scores combined with teacher assessments. Teachers in Year 6 make an assessment of the children’s progress in writing and science. At the end of the year the school receives a combined score for each child which will indicate their attainment in line with national expectations for this year group.
