Livingstone Primary & Nursery School Events

Many events take place over the year which are organised by our dedicated PTA. Below are some of our regular events.We aim to raise money to provide the school with items they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford and which directly benefit the children.

The autumn term is when we hold our monster ball. The children come in their spookiest outfits and dance the afternoon away, in the eerily decorated hall. We even have our own resident DJ.This year due to Covid we where unable to have the monster's ball and did the Spooky Adventure instead.

There is an annual  Christmas Fair, complete with Santa's grotto, various stalls and choir. This is always very well attended.

This is offered as a service for the children, rather than a money making venture. We purchase a vaiety of gifts and sell them at cost price. This is very popular as the children love choosing their own gifts for their mums.

Held every spring term with our resident DJ supplying the tunes. Refreshments and glow sticks are a firm favourite with the children.

The  annual summer fair is a large event and brings in many volunteers. We have a barbeque, inflatables and lots of outdoor stalls. The local fire service pop in for a burger. Whatever the weather we have a great time and make a considerable amount of money.

This event is a favourite for many families. It has grown bigger every year. Families are able to camp on the field overnight, with equipment being provided if needed. We have a barbeque, a camp fire and everybody has a great time.

The family quiz night is a fun evening for families to take part in. Questions are a mixture of questions for children and adults.
