PE Updates

Football –

We had our first match of the season on Wednesday against a very strong Sacred Heart side. Our boys played incredibly well even though they had to defend for the majority of the game. Henry scored our only goal of the game, a very well taken effort and an excellent team goal. Bradley and Luke both defended very well and without their tenacity, we would have lost by an even bigger margin. Despite the loss, Henry, Bradley, Elijah, Joe, Luke, Charlie, Gehan, Mohammad and Baheer all played excellently.

Tag Rugby –

On Thursday, we took part in a tag rugby festival at Allianz Park. Our team of Mason, Arthur, Uktarsh, Tida, Bradniel, Shyam, Ariya and Darina all played incredibly well. They won 2 of their games, drew 1 and lost 1. All of our children showed amazing sportsmanship, determination and dedication. Special mentions must go to Darina, Uktarsh, Shyam and Mason, who all scored multiple times. In attack we were brilliant but we need to focus on improving our defence. While leaving the stadium Mason summed up the afternoon perfectly by saying “It’s not about winning, it’s all about being part of team.”
