Rock School Guitar Assembly

This week we had our own early 'Rock School' when Edward Partridge's pupils showcased their guitar skills following weeks of lessons. The children rocked to Sonny, Cairo, Ruby, Aidan and Emily performing individually and to backing tracks - all were 'Most Excellent!'

Come and see Edward performing at the Summer Fair on the Friday 30th June and please let us know if you are interested in having private guitar lessons.

A huge congratulations to Matteo, Jack D, Qama, Albion, Alex, Lois, Hattie, Catherine and Geethesri who took part in the final, but also a massive thank you to everyone who took part in Tag Rugby over the year and made all of this possible. Reception

Reception have been enjoying the adventures of 'Supertato' this week. They have made and written about their very own superhero potatoes, have been using numicon to count evil peas, have been creating patterns with vegetable printing and learning about the artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo. We have had some brilliant portraits and some fantastic writing this week. Well done reception, potatoes have never looked so cute!

A note about 'Show and tell'....

Our class love show and tell, it has been greatly beneficial for their social and communication skills! However, now children have been told that we may not get to do show and tell every day, only if we have time!

Your child can bring in a show and tell only if they want to on their colour group day:

Monday - Red group

Tuesday - Yellow group

Thursday - Green group

Friday - Blue group

Your children should not be bringing in toys, shows, or tells on Wednesdays or any other day than their colour group day. Thank you for understanding :)
