September Week 2

Friday 13^th September

PTA AGM is taking place at 6pm on Tuesday 24th September.

Due to the generosity and hard work of our parents, carers and friends of Livingstone, we have managed to raise enough money in the last years to upgrade our playgrounds, buy stage lighting and a new minibus.

Each contribution is valued and adds to the quality of education that we are able to provide for our pupils.

If you would like to become a member and volunteer your services as a fundraiser for the school, please come along and bring a friend!

Homework

CGP Homework Books are available from the class teachers in Year 3, 4 & 5 for the discounted price of £1 each.

Brain Booster Activities

Don’t forget you have 6 weeks to complete 1 or all of the Brain Booster Activities.

There are hundreds of activities that can be done through our VLE including Mathletics, Rock Stars Times tables and Reading Buddies.

Please contact the teacher if your child has forgotten the username and password.

Curriculum Booklets

Curriculum Booklets are now available on the Livingstone Website.

Parents who were unable to make the meetings and would like more information can make an appointment to speak to the class teachers.

Look out for the class Impact meetings later in the term, where you can experience a typical class lesson.

School Visits

Next week we start our school visits. Year 3 are going to experience the Stone Age.

By paying in regular amounts of money every week to your online account you can build up a credit and that can be allocated to the cost of activities and trips. Speak to Mrs Kelly if you would like to use this service.
