March Week 1

Friday 3rd March

Our World Book Day celebrations proved to be a great success once again! Staff and pupils all dressed up as, famous book characters. Thank you to Ms Smith, Mrs Armstrong and Ms Stephens for organizing such an inspirational week, it was fantastic to see all the creative costumes during assembly and throughout the day.

The library nest is now open in the library for pupils to use a quiet space to snuggle up with a soft toy and a favourite book

The winners of the dressing up day.  Can you recognise who they are?

As if Book Week wasn’t exciting enough, next week is dedicated to Science and we have lined up lots of amazing animals to be brought into school for the pupils to see first hand.

This half term our British Value is Rule of Law. In our classes we have been talking about what rule of law means to us; we’ve come up with a few ideas: being polite, no damaging property, silence in assembly and no backchat etc. We will be awarding badges to one person in each class who show that they can follow the rules of law. Aarshan and Christiana (Y6 School Council).

The first batches of parent questionnaires have gone out in Early Years and  KS1. Next week we will be giving them out to KS2. Thank you for taking the time to give feedback which we will follow up when all the forms have been collected.
