Happy Mother's Day!

Friday 17th March

Thank you to Mrs Cavozzi and Diane for tirelessly working to get the Mother's Day Stall up and running for today. Thank you also to our parent volunteers Paula Falco, Mapilar Rafter, Jen Naval and Kate Orr who helped to run the stall. All of them are Mums and we appreciate what they do!

Have a lovely weekend!

Teacher Strikes

vjVBDXChT9GvZB

As you are aware, the school had to partially close on Wednesday and Thursday for industrial action taken by some of our teachers. We are in full support of our teachers who took the difficult decision to strike for the two days. They held off going on strike initially with the hope that a settlement would have been reached. Hopefully negotiations will now begin and result in a positive outcome.

Apologies for any disruption caused and we reiterate that closure is always a last resort.

Red Nose Day 22.03.23

JGxRYLVO1ttM3E

Reminder, our Red Nose Fundraising Day is on Wednesday 22nd March. We are mixing comedy with sport and having a Teachers vs Pupils Activity Day. Children will still need to come to school in their PE kits as normal.

Nursery and Reception will be taking part in a dancing/gymnastic competition.

Years 1 and 2 will be judged on who can do the best Circus Skills.

Years 3 - 6 will play in a Dodgeball tournament against the staff and the day will end with a Teachers vs Pupils Netball Match

Please send your child to school with a donation £1.00 to take part. Tickets will go on sale on Monday 20th March for parents/carers who would like to come watch the Netball match. We would love to see as many of you as possible. It's all for a good cause!

Netball

The Netball season has been incredible for Livingstone! Our team have played five games and have gone unbeaten in all of them. We are extremely proud of their achievements. This week's match resulted in us becoming the winners of our group in this year's tournament. We will be playing in the final against another group winner later this term.

Well done to Catherine, Hattie, Lois, Geethesri, Jack D, Qamarzada and Albion.

Football

The Girls Football Team have gone from strength to strength this season. Still unbeaten and top of the league, they took on Lyonsdown Prep School on Tuesday. After a slow start, the girls got into their stride and became more and more confident. Goals from Arbel, Lois and Hattie meant another victory.

Well done to Aaliyah, Geethesri, Kaitlyn, Catherine, Chloe, Arbel, Hattie, Orpita, Lois and Katerina.

We wish the girls the best of luck as they are representing Barnet in the London Youth Games next Tuesday!
