April Week 4
Friday 27th April
OFSTED
Thank you to all parents/carers for the incredible support given to the school after we received the call from Ofsted. ‘Parent View’ was overwhelmingly positive, as were the comments and letters sent to the Inspector by individuals. As soon as we sent out the notification that we had been selected, parents volunteered their services and gave us lots of words of encouragement to help us get through the process. All staff (past and present) worked tremendously hard to ensure that the school was presented in the best possible light. As always, governors gave generously of their time. As soon as work and other commitments permitted, they came in to offer help, having themselves prepared thoroughly to ensure that were able to respond to any questions put to them by the inspector.
We have, though, to give the most praise to our wonderful pupils, who rose to the challenge with exemplary behaviour and hard work. They were amazing, especially those who were chosen by the Inspector to read and talk about their work and the school. After the inspection had finished, the Inspector asked me to thank everyone on his behalf for the reception he had received. We now have to wait for a few weeks for the report to be drafted, and as soon as we have the official outcome we will let everyone know.
Summer Fair on Saturday 23rd June
We are the new co-chairs and really need your help if we are going to make this a successful event. We will be holding weekly meetings every Thursday in the cabin after drop off. Please come along and support us.
We will also be collecting addresses if you are happy to have an estate agents board to help advertise the summer fair. Please give addresses to either myself, Kerry, class reps or the office.
Thank you
Lina & Kerry

Parents Governor Elections
Thank you to all the parents who voted.
Ada Shum and Anisha Topiwalla are to be commended for wanting to help Livingstone by serving on our Governing Body and we thank them for putting themselves forward. In the end, only 3 votes separated the final outcome and Ada Shum was elected as parent governor.
