Summer Fair and Party! Saturday 8th June
This year we are changing the Summer Fair to include an evening event celebrating 65 years of Livingstone School and Nursery.
The event will feature a live band playing music from every decade and this will be followed by a Disco.
There will be a bar, barbecue and raffle all for an amazing
£7.00 and each ticket includes a complimentary drink.
Parent Governor Elections
Parent Governor Elections are being arranged. If you wish to seek nomination as an elected Parent Governor, please collect a nomination form from the school office. This form needs to be completed with an accompanying personal statement of no more than 150 words and returned by 12 noon on Thursday 9th May 2019.
SATs tests and Phonic screening
SATs tests and phonic screening will run during May and June, starting 13th May and during this time it is essential for children to be in school every day and on time. The children have worked very hard preparing for these tests and need to have a good breakfast each morning, a good night’s sleep and avoid being stressed so that they can perform to the best of their ability on the day.
Yr2 Trip to Jewish Museum
This is just one of the interesting artefacts shared with the pupils from Year 2, when the visited the Jewish Museum to find out about Judaism.
Reminder
Summer Dresses should be long enough so that it is not necessary for pupils to wear shorts or leggings underneath as they are not part of school uniform.
It is the expectation that pupils bring their book bags and reading diaries into school every day.
Pupils should also keep their PE kit in school.
Sport!
Yesterday Livingstone played Holly Park but unfortunately lost 12-7. Mrs Church and Miss Gordon were extremely proud of the whole team as they worked extremely hard: Shyam, Shivani, Daisy, Darina, Sarah C, Jordan and Leo. Thank you to Mrs Church and Miss Gordon for their great coaching.
