January Week 4

Friday 24th January

This week, Year 6 experienced a workshop provided by the National Holocaust Centre which informed them all about Kinder transport to support their learning about World War II. All children were thoroughly engaged as they studied artefacts and survivor stories which were very informative and brought the learning to life.

Naomi, Karolina and Jana presenting an excellent assembly on de-forestation. Isabella also helped but was unwell on the day. Well done!

Livingstone vs Christ Church

Winning 2-0 overall, the girls played extremely well on Monday. With little practice, the girls had a great formation modelling team work and skill.  Keep up the great work girls! Well done to Isabella, Gabriella, Daisy, Scarlett, Naomi, Karolina, Zoe, Hailey and Roxy.

Livingstone vs Osidge

Our netball team have been doing fantastically well in our Central/East fixture league. We have played 3 games so far and this was the team’s third win! The game ended 5-1 to Livingstone due to the children’s exceptional teamwork and hard work. They have 4 games left. Let’s wish them the best of luck! Well done to Adam, Leo, Jordan, Daisy, Maria, Sammie and Scarlett.

On Wednesday, children from our afterschool club were selected to represent the school at a Barnet Competition with over 180 children attending. We took two teams where they played 5 games each. It was an enjoyable day full of sportsmanship. Both teams modelled great skill and had lots of fun. Well done to Jordan, Maisie, Mahi, David, Karolina, Sammie, Leo, Adam, Daisy, Maria, Naomi, Mahek, Scarlett and Arez.
