Parent Champions

On Wednesday 28th July, Barnet Council organised an event to celebrate the achievements of all Parent Champions across the borough. We had the chance to meet with other parent champions and exchange experiences, find out about local services and support and maximize networking opportunities.

At Livingstone, we are very proud to have a team of motivated and dedicated Parent Champions who are there to signpost to various local services and provide help to other parents. Without the time and effort they put in, we would not have been able to run all those brilliant coffee mornings.

Thank you so much Livingstone Parent Champions and WELL DONE!

Our last coffee morning for this academic year will be on Friday 14th July. You are all welcome to join for tea, coffee, cake and a chat.

Please use this opportunity to let our team know if there is any specific workshop you would be interested in for the next academic year and we will do our best to make it happen (e.g. money saving tips, children& adult mental health, parenting classes, etc.)

Barnet Schools Athletics Competition

Last week, we took part in the annual Barnet Athletic Championship Competition representing the country Poland. The children always look forward to this and they trained incredibly hard in their individual/group events.

The day started with the field events where we had many children placing in the top 3. This was followed by the track events and tug of war.

We couldn't be prouder of how well the children represented our school. The stadium area was full of cheer and team spirit.

Throughout the day, we were collating the results, but still we waited anxiously for the final results to be confirmed. As we listened out for the school names, we couldn't contain our excitement. After hearing third and second place, we were thrilled to be announced as the competition winners for all the events, including the tug of war, which we have been undefeated in for the past 6 years. Screams and tears of joy could not be contained!

Our school is full of very talented young people, and it was wonderful to take home the trophies.

Well done to everyone who participated. Thank you to all our supporters.
