Reception at Livingstone
In reception we have 30 children with a class teacher and two teaching assistants. This enables us to provide focused and specific support for all children. Our wonderful and inspiring teaching areas visually change each term to match our topic and inspire the children.
At Livingstone, children have the opportunity to experience and investigate a range of materials and equipment both indoors and outside. Each child is encouraged to be independent and self-motivated in a safe and caring environment, which encourages each pupil to explore and be able to have confidence in his/her own judgements and ideas. We aim to promote learning as an enjoyable and challenging experience which children will continue to pursue for the rest of their lives.
