All the way from Los Angeles and This Morning we had the pleasure of Mr Mitchell aka MC Grammar hosting for one of our best ever assemblies emphasising the importance of reading. MC Grammar inspired us with a rapped version of  The Bear Hunt and The Gruffalo. He was helped by Spyros in KF2 who gave an equally amazing reading.  Pupils from Year 6 took the rhyming challenge and Chimika won a gold cap for her efforts. Members of staff were challenged to out-rap and one member of staff- Mrs Segal nearly stole the show! See Mrs Segal on Twitter @LivingstoneEN4 and follow Mr Mitchell @TheTeacherTrain and @MrMCGrammar.

All parents/ carers are invited to our family picnic on 24th May – Livingstone Founders Day. The theme of the day is the outdoor classroom.

A picnic lunch will be provided for all pupils who have school dinners and parents can bring their own picnic lunch to have on the field.

Year 5/6 Basketball Competition

nl2(15)

On the 30th of May, children were selected to represent our school at the annual basketball competition. The children demonstrated excellent sporting values as they were new to the sport. We took two teams where they competed against three other schools winning a few games. A huge well done to Luke, Felix, Arez, Vladic, Joseph, Isabella.M, Jana, Naomi and Maria.
