School Council Winners
On Wednesday we announced the winners of our student council elections. We would like to congratulate the following children on being appointed as members of the Livingstone student council.

We would also like to congratulate all the children who put themselves forward for these elections and look forward to our first meeting which will take place next Thursday at 10:00.
Year 5 River Trip to Lea Valley Country Park
On Thursday 3 October Year 5 visited Lea Valley Country Park to support their Geography topic on Rivers. They learnt more about the features of rivers, canals and lakes as well as wetland wildlife:
Year 4 Trip To Verulamium
On Tuesday 1st October, Y4 went to the Verulamium museum for their topic of the Romans. It was a fantastic day to consolidate learning and discover new information as we explored what it would have been like to live in Roman Britain. We were able to handle artefacts, draw a mosaic and even visit the ruins of a Roman wall.

Livingstone Achievement Awards
Please note that due to the wonderful Shakespeare workshop for Year 6 and Great Fire of London workshop for Year 2 today in both halls, there was no achievement assembly. We look forward to Black History Week next week and our achievement awards focused on this area of our curriculum.
