November Week 2

Friday 9th November

Remembrance Day Assembly Year 4SB ‘Lest we Forget’

This year we are going to continue with our P.E council to help assist on different sporting activities and ensure that we are doing the best we can to promote sport throughout Livingstone.

Well done to our new P.E Ambassadors; Sara, Charlie, Alfie, Ruby, Daisy, Aedan, CJ, Sara, Zach, Catherine, Xander, Jamie, Maisie, Charlie, Eleni and Alan.

On Tuesday 6th November, Year 5 went on a trip to the Affinity Water Centre. They went with Miss Smith, Mr Thomas, Miss Breen, Miss Boucon, Miss Stephens and Miss Consitt to learn about water and how it is cleaned. They found out that we individually use over 150 litres a day! They learnt how pollution is affecting the water that we drink and about rivers. Also, they were surprised that they won a silver award for not having waste left over from lunch. By Kiera (5S) and Karolina (5BB)

Please respect our neighbours when parking near the school. Thank you.

4F’s Victorian Day 6.11.18

We arrived at school all dressed as poor Victorian children. We started the day as usual with maths and English. In English we wrote on chalk boards and used ink quills. For maths we had to chant our timetables. Later, we played different Victorian games such as Jacks and Pick up Sticks. We even got to make our own toys. Victorian day was fantastic even though Miss Fairley and Mrs Church were super strict! By Arbri and Maya
